Cursive Letter U β€” How to Write & Copy-Paste π“Š

By Alex Rivera Β· Last updated August 2, 2026 Β· Last tested: July 28, 2026

Cursive u is a double upstroke: two short arches that look like a rounded β€œu” with a clear exit. It is the counterpart to n’s down-emphasised humps and pairs with q in β€œqu.” Uppercase U is a simple open cup, sometimes with an entrance stroke. Even u’s prevent words from tilting downhill. In Unicode, π“Š and 𝓾 are among the most reliable script characters across iOS and Android.
